Cocktail Hour : DIY Poptail

Cocktail Hour : DIY Poptail

Chances are you’ve seen them all over Instagram. The Poptail. It’s the perfect summery way to cool off on a hot day.

Depending on how much effort you’d like to put into this recipe, or how long you’d like to wait, there are two options for your Poptail. Simply pick up pre-made popsicles at your local market and add to your glass, or you can get creative and make your own popsicles.

Follow along below to prepare your own!

What You’ll Need

Prosecco or Rosé

Fruit Juice (flavor of your choice)

Popsicle Molds

The Breakdown

1. Fill your popsicle molds with about a quarter Prosecco or Rosé and the remaining with your fruit juice. Leave a bit of room for the popsicle to expand at the end when frozen.

2. Once all popsicle molds are filled, place in freezer. Freeze until solid, about 4-5 hours or overnight. And now we wait.

3. Ready to enjoy? Fill a wine glass with your bubbly of choice.

4. Remove popsicle from mold by running a little warm water over it first. Place in your glass, and enjoy! Oh, and you might want to snap a pic for Instagram while you’re at it…

Cheers!
