I am an existing customer, why do I have to re-register?
|
As you may have noticed we have made significant changes to the look and feel of our website! We have also changed the way our customer's information was stored in our database, and thus we do require users to input their email and password to recreate their profile. Even though you are an existing customer, you will still have to enter in your email address and new password, (Just this is a one-time we promise!), so we can update your information in our new system. We apologize for the extra work and extra typing.
To register on our new site:
1. Click on the "My Account" link at the top right or click here.
2. Under the "New Customers" section, enter in your email address twice, enter in your new password twice, and click "Register"
3. We'll send you a confirmation email and you're all set!
If you'd like to update your personal information you can always login and change your settings on the My Account page. |

When will my order be shipped? When will it arrive? |
If your order was placed Monday thru Thursday it will be shipped the same
day or the day after. If your order was placed on Friday prior to 3:00pm
PST, the order may be shipped the same day, if not it will be shipped on
Monday. You will receive an e-mail confirmation once your order has shipped.
Prior to checking out, you will see several estimated arrival dates, depending
on the type of shipping you select. |

How do I change or cancel an order? |
To cancel or change order you recently completed, simply go to this
page, log in and then click "cancel order." If for any reason
you would like to change your order, please contact our Customer
Service Department as soon as possible. We will make every effort to
accommodate your request. However, please keep in mind our system is designed
to fulfill orders as quickly as possible. As a result, we cannot cancel
or change an order once it has entered the shipping process. |

Yes - we collect sales tax only in states where we have a physical presence.

What's the difference between "Order Date" and "Ship
Date"? |
On most websites, "Order Date" and "Ship Date" are
not the same. For example, if you place an order on Friday at 11:00pm PST,
your package will not ship until after the weekend. Although most orders
are shipped the same or next day, please take weekends and holidays into
account when considering the shipping date. |

What countries do you ship to? What about duties? |
We currently ship only within the United States. |

| Do you ship to PO boxes or APO/FPO addresses? |
For security reasons, we do not currently ship to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO
addresses. |

| If I send my package as a gift, will the recipient receive the
invoice? |
Yes. If you would like us to remove the invoice from the package, please
send us an e-mail immediately after your order is placed by using this

| RETURNS & EXCHANGES |
| What is your return/exchange policy? |
Returns will only be accepted from customers who purchased in the United States and customer must also reside in the United States as The Sak does not ship to or sell to international customers directly.
1. Items bought Online at either of our brand websites;
- DEFECTIVE RETURNS - The Sak will accept and process a return bought via our online websites due to defectiveness at any time, regardless of origin of purchase, date of purchase, no receipt for the original purchase necessary. Credit will be issued for the value of the original purchase price only, not including shipment costs.
- NON-DEFECTIVE RETURNS -The Sak will accept returns for “preference related issues” for items bought online up to 90 days from shipment date. The Sak will not accept “non-defective” returns (returns for preference related issues) if returned after 90 days of ship date. If the item(s) are returned within 90 days of ship date, credit will be issued for the value of the original purchase price only, not including original shipment costs. Exceptions can be made at customer service agent’s discretion and if authorized would be issued a gift certificate code in place of a credit.
- 2. Items NOT purchased online at either of our brand websites;
- DEFECTIVE RETURNS- Outside returns for Defective items are defined as returns of bags purchased in a retail store, returns for items given as a gift and not purchased on our websites and/or purchased in a retail store websites other than www.thesak.com or unknown origin (received as a gift or don’t remember origin of purchase). Outside returns will be met with a gift certificate for the original retail value of the returned item. Return Shipping Credit will not be issued for outside returns.
- NON-DEFECTIVE RETURNS- The Sak will NOT accept returns for "preference related issues" for items NOT bought online up to 90 days from shipment date. Exceptions can be made at customer service agent’s discretion and if authorized would be issued a gift certificate code in place of a credit.
The Sak will not reimburse for independently pursued repairs.
We will only refund shipping charges if we sent the wrong item or the item sent was defective. If you are making an exchange because you would like a different size, style or color, you will be charged for shipping on your exchange.
Please use the most economical shipping method for your return. Due to security constraints, we cannot reimburse you for an amount greater than your purchase amount.

How should I ship my return or exchange?
|
Pack and seal your box securely, in the original packaging if possible.
To be properly processed, your return/exchange must include a completed
return form. Go here, log in, click
on "View Order" and on the following page click on the "Return or Exchange
Items" link. Follow the easy steps, print the final page and include it
in your return box. You should ship your return/exchange with a carrier
who will provide your package with a tracking number to ensure that your
package does not get lost. Packages must be returned prepaid. We do not
accept COD. |

When will my credit card be refunded?
|
Once your package has been received, your refund or exchange will be processed
within 7 business days. If there is a refund due, a credit will be issued
in the original form of payment.
The credit may not show up until your credit card's next monthly billing
cycle. You will be notified via e-mail when this transaction has taken
place. Please note that your banking institution may require additional
days to process and post this transaction to your account once they have
received the information from us. |

Yes. Although our website may have a different assortment than a store

eBay (or other auction/web sites) in regards to counterfeit products. To
ensure you're not buying a counterfeit product, we suggest you shop on our
