Giving Back

In gratitude, The Sak Brand Group finds ways to give back to the community whether it is to support tsunami relief, breast cancer awareness, or world peace.  Mark also has a long history of supporting AmericaSCORES, a non-profit organization that brings soccer and literacy to kids across the country.  Most recently, with the introduction of The Sak’s first-ever eco-friendly collection of bags, sakroots, The Sak Brand Group has embarked on greener future teaming up with The Nature Conservancy’s Plant a Billion Trees campaign.  The Nature Conservancy's Plant a Billion Trees campaign raises funds to restore and plant one billion trees by 2015 on 2.5 million acres of Brazil's Atlantic Forest, one of the greatest repositories of biodiversity on Earth. As a company, The Sak Brand Group is going greener by creating a Go Green Committee in their NYC and San Francisco offices enforcing eco-friendly business practices and shipping processes.
